The B2B side of eCommerce
We do not sell to shoppers. We work with whoever sells to the stores: platform, payment, shipping, fulfilment and services providers, where the decision is commercial and the cycle relatively short.
- Targeting stores and brands, not consumers
- Campaigns that avoid peak operational seasons
- A commercial decision with a shorter cycle than other sectors
Timing the outreach is half the result
eCommerce has a sharp operational rhythm. In peak seasons, from White Friday through Ramadan and Eid, a store team is in operational emergency mode with no minute to spare for evaluating a new vendor. An excellent message at that moment is ignored not because it is bad but because the timing is wrong.
The real window is immediately after a season, when the problems that surfaced during the peak are still fresh: late shipments, payment failures, stock-outs, a slow site. That is precisely the moment a store becomes willing to change vendor.
The second element is identifying who decides. At a small store it is the owner. At a mid-sized brand it is the eCommerce or operations manager. At a large retail group, procurement and IT enter the picture. The outreach approach differs completely across the three.
The signals we track in this sector
The signal is the reason to call. These specific events are what we look for in this sector before any outreach.
- The immediate aftermath of a peak season, the strongest outreach window
- Expansion into new Gulf markets
- A platform change or site relaunch
- Hiring eCommerce or operations roles
- Launching a new product category with different storage requirements
- Repeated public complaints about shipping or payments
Who makes the decision
The decision in this sector is not made by one person. These are the roles we identify at each account, and what each of them actually cares about.
| Role | What they care about |
|---|---|
| eCommerce Manager | Conversion rate, site speed and the purchase experience |
| Operations & Logistics Manager | Delivery time, return rate and shipping cost |
| Procurement Manager at larger groups | Contract terms and cost at group level |
| Brand Owner | Growth, margin and brand reputation |
What a campaign in this sector involves
Scheduling around the seasons
Easing off during the peak and intensifying immediately after, while the problems are still fresh.
Segmenting by size
Three tracks: the small store, the mid-sized brand and the retail group, each with a different approach.
Messaging in operational numbers
This sector understands conversion, return rates and delivery times far better than any marketing language.
Commercial partnership opportunities
Alongside direct sales, we open a partnerships track between stores and providers where the model fits.
Qualification notes specific to this sector
The general qualification criteria are customised per sector. These are the differences we apply here.
- We verify actual store size, because a very small store does not justify a consultative sales cycle.
- We record each account’s peak season, avoid outreach during it, and reschedule for afterwards.
- We exclude stores that have just changed vendor, because a switching decision does not repeat within months.
- A known operational problem is a far stronger signal than sales volume.

Appointment Setting in Saudi Arabia
We do not sell you a list of names. We look for the companies with a genuine reason to buy now, reach the person actually responsible for the decision, and book the meeting into your team calendar. You pay only for the qualified meeting.

Buying a contact list is easy and cheap. The problem is that your sales team then burns weeks calling companies that do not match your profile and have neither a need nor a budget. We start from the other end: we qualify first, then hand over.

Sales sells what exists. Business development opens what does not: a partner who reaches a whole market, a distributor who covers a region, or one key account that changes the size of your company.
Explore SolutionsQuestions about this sector
Do you target shoppers?
No. Our work is entirely B2B: we serve whoever sells to stores and brands, not whoever sells to end consumers. Consumer marketing is an entirely different model that we do not provide.
When should we launch the campaign?
We avoid launching immediately before a peak season. The best timing is the weeks following the end of a major season, because stores have just come out of a real test of their current vendors.
Our sales cycle is very short. Does this suit us?
Yes, and it is one of the few sectors where results show quickly. But beware the flip side: a short cycle also means a competitor can reach them just as fast, so consistency of outreach matters more here than in any other sector.
